"I don't want to say I came as an immigrant, but when I was freed from the rebels, I didn't have anything to wear to come to America when I won the lottery. So I got an old dress that was offered to me by a friend. And I decided to wear that dress because that was the only one I got when I was left naked by the rebels. So when I landed, I saw some eyes. It's like, oh, look at the kind of dress you wore. What I was proud, I was proud of who I am and I was proud of the kind of dress that I had because that one defined who I am, my heritage, my culture, my values, you know, and I was very prestigious in that dress."
